The prosecution has closed the traffic accident case involving Apostle ng’ang’a who is accused of causing death by dangerous driving contrary to section 46 of Traffic Act CAP 403 Laws of Kenya.

Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Mr. Alloys Kemo assisted by Assistant Director Public prosecutions Ms Catherine closed the case after presenting their last two witnesses at Limuru Law courts.

‘We have submitted all the evidences the investigation team gathered and therefore wish to close the case’ said Mr. Kemo.

Directorate of Criminal investigation Cellular Forensic examiner presented the exhibit of SMS logs of the phones of the accused persons while the Former Commandant of traffic and an investigating officer presented his investigation report before the court.

The prosecution presented a total of 32 witnesses in the case

The case against Apostle Ng’ang’a and 3 others has been going on in Limuru Law Court for over 2 years

Apostle Ng’ang’a is accused of causing death to Ms Mercy Njeri through a road accident while driving a Range Rover sport in Manguo area along Naivasha-Nairobi Highway on July 26 2015; failing to report an accident and giving false information.

His co-accused Christopher Nzilu, Patrick Baya and Simon Kuria are accused of aiding an attempt to cover up the accident the accident.
