The ODPP is manning a 24-hour call center to monitor and address election and related offences before, during and after the 2017 General Election.

The cases are drawn from all over the country and the office has staff as point persons in all the counties. Hotline numbers have also been shared on the ODPP’s social media platforms for the public to call in and report on incidences or make enquiries on matters election.

The ODPP’s team of 105 prosecutors spread out in the country are working tirelessly with various stakeholders to ensure that all election, hate speech and incitement cases are expedited.
