The hearing of a conspiracy to defraud case against four officials of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) has been set for 26th June, 2016.

The hearing that had been scheduled for today was adjourned after the defense team claimed that it had not been supplied with witness statements.

Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi directed the prosecution to supply the defense with witness statements and forensic reports before the next hearing.

Four NOCK officials Stephen Arap Soi (Chief de Mission of Team Kenya) , his deputy Bernard Kabura Ekumbo, Nock Secretary General FK Paul and Nock first Vice-Chairman Pius Ochieng are charged with conspiring to steal, fraudulent appropriation funds amounting to over Sh 88 Million and mismanagement of Team Kenya games kit during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.
